There are endless English language courses available all over the world. Many of these language courses are in English speaking countries. The idea is for the student to be immersed in the language. However this is not always the case. The student may study in class time but many hours are wasted outside class. This is because very little English is spoken outside the classroom.

Our suggestion to look for an intensive English language course that includes more classes in the afternoon or some sort of activity with the teachers. However, we have another suggestion wihich is to look for an English language holiday or should I say vacaciones en ingles because we all know that the vast majority of people learning English as a second language are Spanish, closely followed by the Italians.

Firstly, what do we mean by vacaciones en ingles Well, exactly that, you have a holiday and you will need to speak in English all the time. I am sure, if you are busy person who needs to learn English but has little time and not that much enthusiasm then this idea sounds wonderful already . Yes, the idea is wonderful, but you need to do it with professional English language teachers who can keep one eye on your vaciones en ingles and another eye on how good your English is and of course correct you etc.

So where do you go and who do you do it with? If the school or indeed holiday company are professional enough you do ot even need to worry about going to an English speaking country. If you are with native English speakers as your tour guides (and preferably they do not speak your language) then no need to worry about the location. However if you are not so sure about the quality of the English language teachers then an English speaking country will give you more security.
