about Toucan

toucan trustToucan Trust

Toucan Trust is the charitable arm of Toucan Group.

The Trust was established in November 1998 with the objective of:

"The relief of persons in conditions of need, hardship and distress, in particular the young, the elderly and the disabled, by providing or assisting in the provision of education, advice, training and support."

The Trust seeks to continue the work that was established by Jean Hough and Dave Ellis in the early 1990’s, following the death of Jean Hough in 1997, it was decided to establish a charitable trust to continue the work that Jean had been interested in for a number of years.

Toucan Trust will endeavor to work in partnership and consortia to further the needs and aspirations of those individuals and groups experiencing social exclusion.
