lifelong learningEden Development PartnershipEden ClustersCluster 1: Training & Service ProvisionThis cluster will look at ways of improving existing provision of lifelong learning opportunities using innovative methods of delivery. Members include, Manchester Libraries, Manchester Young Volunteers Project, Manchester Youth Service, Manchester Community Information Network. Cluster 2: Addressing Barriers to EmploymentThis cluster of activities is seeking to increase the understanding of the barriers facing a range of excluded groups in accessing employment opportunities. It will seek to develop new methods of overcoming barriers by working with target groups and employment and other intermediate service providers. This cluster will include the British Dyslexia Association, Circles Network, National Development Team, Ridge Danyers FE College and Sense. Cluster 3: Social EnterpriseAspire in Manchester, Social Enterprise Development Initiative, and United Response will be looking at methodologies for developing self-employment for excluded groups is fair and sustainable, using appropriate training, encouraging lifelong learning in the workplace and encouraging equal opportunities best practice. |
