Licence to Skill 2

Licence to Skill 2 is funded by Greater Manchester LSC and offers free ICT training to staff, volunteers and service users of voluntary organisations in Greater Manchester.

The long-term courses we offer through Licence to Skill are the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) Level 1 and 2, NCFE Level 1 Certificate for IT Users and NCFE Level 1 Certificate in Telematics. We also offer shorter courses including BBC Webwise and eDCC awards. Other courses can be customised to suit an organisation's particular needs.

Our class sizes are small - between 6 and 10 people - and we can accommodate groups from the same organisation or mixed classes. We offer several timetables, the most popular being our weekly sessions lasting 2 hours, or our intensive courses delivering a learning module over 3 days.

Training is held at Toucan's ICT training suite in Ardwick, although we can arrange on-site training if an organisation has suitable facilities.
