Second Day

The T.A.D. meeting was picked up on the 26th of October mentioned above once the Business Meeting had been brought to a close.

The session opens by discussing about the T.A.D. project Web page. It´s agreed to record Spanish searchers on Internet and include the key words: Telematics, discapacity, accessibility, employment, teleworking and social enterprise.

On the other hand, it is discussed that information about the Italian links is missing.

With regard to the Spanish links, it is agreed that it would be convenient to place geographically speaking the projects properly, for instance Tecformin Spain Canary Islands, etc.

Mr. MacDonald reports on TAD Web and its possibilities. Mrs. Viorreta enquires whether it is feasible that the former is updated in accordingly and she comments on the Spanish links with the view that Cepadite links are referred to on the Web.

Mr. Artiles informs that more updated information will be sent shortly.

Mr. MacDonald explains that some updated information on the Web about some projects is due to be included and that it has not been done yet for lack of time.

Mr. Desogus comments on the Italian links and that enough of these have been sent because one can have access to more information from the links already brought up.

It is suggested the possibility of keeping the website and how it´ll be updated, as well as its duration, given that each project has a different date of completion:

The possibility of taking advantage of European Programmes is suggested, such as the V Marco Programme. Initially, the web will be running until next June and everybody expresses the goodwill to carry their projects further ahead.

Therefore, the feasibility to draw up a "Declaration of..." where future collaborations of the four organizations are agreed upon. Two possible collaborations are established:

Mr. Artiles urges Mr. Desogus to draw a document and send to the rest of colleagues and he also suggests that such document, once completed by everyone, is signed at the meeting in Madrid.

Mr. MacDonald comments on some details regarding the Employment Week Celebration ( Brussels, 3-5 November), for instance: measures and strategies to display information from each organization at the Fair.

Mrs. Viorreta puts forward the likelihood of keeping up with the date for the next transnational meeting in Madrid or put it off if everyone agrees. After studying different options, everyone agrees on sticking to the initial date: 16 and 17 of December.

On the other hand, Mr. Artiles offers himself to gather all the information and notes about the work done during these two days and send it to the rest ot the group. Likewise, a compilation of the contributions made about each project will be written up ( after the 26th of November) to be included in an English version of such document.

Finally, and with regard to other matters to be treated or discussed, Mr. MacDonald explains that TAD Web is www.etw.org. and says that the On-line web has been chosen during the Teleworking European Week.

Regarding the Transnational Project Assessment, it is agreed that Mr. John Clark should attend the meeting in Madrid.

As a way of closing the Meeting, Mr. Adviser of Social Affairs and Education of Excmo. Cabildo Insular de Gran Canaria thanks everyone for having taking part in it. Following this, the representatives of each project are grateful for the warm reception on behalf of the organization.

The meeting is adjourned at 20:30 hours on the date and place stated above.
