Everyone's a Winner

Toucan Europe have been working with Melanie Windle Associates to create an Entrepreneurship Curriculum. The curriculum has been translated into a facilitator's guide that can be used by organisations to run a course in entreprenuership.

The facilitator's guide consists of 25 activities and several worksheets all aimed at introducing individuals to the idea of entrepreneurialism and giving them the experience of creating a 'one day business'.

The curriculum is desgined for use with a group and its objectives are:

• To experience and understand what is involved with setting up a business
• To generate potential business ideas for the group or individuals to get involved in
• To understand the role of enterprise in your local community
• To develop the skills of entrepreneurship
• To work collectively and build self-confidence

Through the programme participants can obtain NCFE Level 1 accredited Key Skills units of:

• Working with others
• Improving own learning and performance
• Problem Solving
