Everyone's a Winner

Toucan Europe have been working with Melanie Windle Associates to create an Entrepreneurship Curriculum. The curriculum has been translated into a facilitator's guide that can be used by organisations to run a course in entreprenuership.

The facilitator's guide consists of 25 activities and several worksheets all aimed at introducing individuals to the idea of entrepreneurialism and giving them the experience of creating a 'one day business'.

The curriculum is desgined for use with a group and its objectives are:

To experience and understand what is involved with setting up a business
To generate potential business ideas for the group or individuals to get involved in
To understand the role of enterprise in your local community
To develop the skills of entrepreneurship
To work collectively and build self-confidence

Through the programme participants can obtain NCFE Level 1 accredited Key Skills units of:

Working with others
Improving own learning and performance
Problem Solving
